JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting the leadership team in overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring all customer orders are shipped in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong listening and problem resolution skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and
  • manage multiple projects with dedication to meeting deadlines.
  • High sense of urgency and customer service
  • Previous SAP experience considered an asset
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

  • Delegate’s task & Support in execution - support team where necessary to complete the task.
  • Train and mentors team members throughout the facility in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and Company Core Values
  • Support in creating process and ensuring team members are following process.
  • Monitors team performance and report on metrics to Supervisor.
  • Assists in maintaining a safe work environment for DC team members (i.e. retrains team members and builds
  • a safety culture through team meetings and activities) to enhance safety awareness
  • Ensures timely and accurate order receipt and shipment; responsible for maintaining cut off time
  • As a member of the DC leadership team this position is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Performs stock counts, stock maintenance and inventory count reconciliation
  • Assists with picking, checks, loads and processes inbound and outbound product
  • Effectively communicates with site leadership regarding daily operations
