Team Lead Project Procurement and Logistics

Siemens Energy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Procurement (strategic, operational) and Logistics to lead our procurement/logistic team in Grenoble. This role requires a strong focus on people management, motivation and leadership, especially in challenging environments, and the ability to drive transformation within the organization.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE COMPANY (EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION?)

• Has had disciplinary leadership responsibility for minimum five years with minimum 10-15 direct reports
• Has experience in at least 1-2 of the following procurement areas/roles: Senior Buying professional, senior commodity manager, senior procurement, ideally in the electrical grid technology and within a project environment
• engineer/project procurement manager, regional procurement manager, CVE, supplier management or supplier quality management,
• methods/processes/controlling
• University degree in either business administration or engineering as typical qualification

• People Management: Lead and manage a diverse team, ensuring the development of required skills and fostering a high-performance culture
• Acts as a role model and proactively leads transformation of organization and workforce, towards optimal support of the projects, digitalization, value chain orchestration, diversity, required skill set of staff and performance
• Deploys and implements the procurement strategy to find the best solution and suppliers for the respective demand, considering project needs and commodity strategies to ensure a long-term, cost-efficient supply of material
• Responsible within the area of Western Europe and Africa for a purchasing volume of approximately 65 Mio Euro, CoO/FTE and related other KPIs; delivers targeted results
• Defines and ensures implementation of local and global Procurement standards, regulations and guidelines
• Manages and contributes to overarching Siemens-Energy-wide Procurement programs and initiatives.
• Integrates Procurement in the project management process and project teams and ensures early involvement also during sales phase in line with set strategies.
• Organization, controlling and measurement of Pooling and Procurement activities with the objective of establishing optimum conditions on an excellent supplier base
• Contributes to the implementation and ensures usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and compliance
• Oversee the entire supply chain process, including logistics (with a dedicated team and team leader who will report directly to you).
