Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Team lead of Support Services is an operationally, all-encompassing role which supports the service operations by maintaining and growing support systems, process administration oversight and administration staff supervision. The role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service coordination group, supporting senior management, project/service managers and all programs and teams, ensuring that the service coordination group runs in a smooth and efficient manner.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years relevant experience in a related environment.
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity within a related environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of service management systems,
- Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite, JDE-Oracle, Metrix
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of internal and external individuals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to document information and instructions
- Team Focus - Capable of building relationships at all levels within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Standardize administrative roles to streamline processes and create efficiencies. Create and train associated tasks in each role within the service BU.
- Develop business flow processes/solutions required to efficiently support multiple business operations.
- Train and manage the service coordination team to execute processes proficiently to ensure the required support for the clients & field service teams.
- Interaction with service team and management to set company standards and ensure overall compliance and accountability.
- Attend leadership meetings to contribute insight that ensures continuity of business requirements and build a strong business culture.
- Create and analyze reports to ensure business mandated expectations are being met.
- Manage day-to-day activities related to the service coordination operations team.
- Accountable for the daily service and maintenance work orders and managing the actions required to facilitate the successful execution of closing out work orders through and providing weekly updates to management.
- Perform internal quality audits to ensure all work order information is accurate and updated accordingly.
- Assist where needed in training of completion of all required forms, documentation, and procedures to all shared service teams.
- Promote and perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
- Coordinate collaboratively with corporate teams to provide insight, to identify improvement opportunities and deliver efficiencies within the corporate systems and processes
- Develop service coordination team through assessments, feedback, and training opportunities
- Responsible for hiring, scheduling and supervision of service coordination team focusing on development and growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
