You form a strong partnership with the UX Design Manager (M3) and Value Stream leadership to strengthen UX Design within the associated product lines. You help drive the Value Stream UX strategy, promote innovation and share best practices and learnings with Design Leadership and the Design Guild.
While you’re a people manager you still are involved in design work. You are seen as a strong individual contributor that is able to lead a team specific project and the entire design process of a flow, journey or complex feature. You take responsibility and ownership of strategical important projects, where you chose between leading, doing or, delegating design work. You lead and deliver full lifecycle project delivery in the squads, working with team leadership to identify improvements to the UX design methodology where required. You also take responsibility for the quality of UX Design in the squads, working with the project team on consistency, Design System (re)use and industry standardization wherever possible.
