Description:

The VPS3 Team Leader position is assigned to the East Gippsland Police Service Area (PSA), however, performs the role of Executive Assistant to the Eastern Region Division 6 (ED6), Divisional Area Commander (DAC) whilst also managing all VPS staff in the East Gippsland PSA. In addition to the core duties performed as an Executive Assistant and Team Leader, the role also supports Emergency Management Incident, Command, and Control System (ICCS) structures. ED6 is exposed to ongoing Emergency Management with fires, floods, storms, and protracted searches impacting all year round. The VPS3 Team Leader manages the planning, logistics and costs associated with these events and builds relationships with service providers to equip and accommodate our members.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage VPS staff at Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance and Orbost
