We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and skilled Team Leader in our Adult & Online department. Duties:

  • To lead Online Trainers and Administrator colleagues to achieve funding and outcome targets.
  • To lead Online Trainers and Administrator colleagues to deliver the innovative and unrivalled adult learning offer accessed through a range of delivery modes.
  • To ensure that trainers deliver the planned strong and robust safeguarding and prevent provision included at all learner inductions.
  • To manage the South Hampshire College Group’s team of online trainers so as to rapidly establish the College as the leading online education and training provider in England.
  • To lead and manage the monitoring and evaluation of learner progress and ensure high quality learner support within the area in line with College policy.

Skills/experience:

  • Highly motivated Team Leader with a range of industry experience in adult and online training courses.
  • Experience of working within the education sector is desirable.
  • Good organisational skills with ability to organise own workload and able to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Good standard of computer literacy and have knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to include; communication, adaptability and flexibility.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent.
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Level 3 qualification in Management or Team leading is desirable.
  • Relevant degree and/or appropriate qualification is desirable.
  • IQA qualification is desirable.
