Description:
£12.56 PER HOUR, 175 HOURS CONTRACTED PER MONTH PLUS £60 PER SLEEP.
We are excited to announce the opening of a new 3-bed children’s respite home in West Bromwich, dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children with learning disabilities.
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join as the Team Leader. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and contribute to the development of a caring and supportive team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of 1 years of experience in a leadership role within a residential childcare setting.
· Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team.
· Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.

Pay: From £12.56 per hour

Responsibilities:
· Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of dedicated support staff, ensuring a collaborative and positive working environment.
· Residential Care: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the respite home, ensuring the highest standards of care are provided to children in residence.
· Staff Development: Support the professional growth of team members through training, mentoring, and regular performance assessments.
· Child Welfare: Prioritise the safety, well-being, and individual needs of each child in the home, fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
· Communication: Maintain effective communication with team members, parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and supportive network.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing the operation of a children’s respite home.
· Administration: Oversee administrative tasks related to the management of the home, including record-keeping and reporting.
