Description:
Auckland Council Libraries is seeking a Team Leader for our Collection Advisory Services team. This is a key leadership role at Auckland Council Libraries with responsibility for leading a team of experts in regional collection management advisory for the entire library network.
HE KŌRERO MŌU: ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for a flexible and collaborative leader with in-depth knowledge of collection management and proven experience in team leadership and staff development. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders is critical, as is experience leading projects and managing change. We are seeking a candidate with:
- Tertiary qualification to NZQA Level 7 in library studies
- 7+ years’ experience in a professional library role, with 5+ years in collection services in a public library or equivalent environment
- Proven experience in team leadership and staff development
- In-depth knowledge of collection management best practice and related work processes.
