About the Team Leader:
This is a hands-on role as we launch and scale a new team working alongside Mailchimp, a leading Marketing Platform provider. You will be a part of the development of a high caliber EMEA Outbound Sales Team, responsible for the development and closing of outbound opportunities. In this role, you will lead, coach, and grow a talented team of budding professionals, responsible for executing outbound marketing and sales strategies, while exemplifying MarketStar’s and our client’s core values.
We are looking to hire a smart, driven leader who is passionate about tech and works best in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Hybrid, Leopardstown, Dublin 18 (Tuesday & Thursday in office)
What Will You Do?
- Manage, coach and mentor a team of sales agents across multiple sales disciplines to a set of targets and KPIs aligned to the expectations of the client and MarketStar.
- Maintain a hands-on approach while adjusting to client demands and strategies.
- Gather a strong understanding of client offerings to enable the team effectively across differing EMEA territories.
- Continuously increase the effectiveness of the team, recognizing opportunities for creating new systems, structures, and processes.
- Create a culture of focus, teamwork, and outstanding performance.
- Drive strong thought leadership within a wider sales team.
- Adhere to team goals as agreed by the client.
- Ownership of day-to-day operations in partnership with client contact.
- Take responsibility for performance discipline, employee scheduling and attendance, time-card approvals, performance evaluations, and associated management functions
What Will You Need to Succeed?
- 2+ years of experience in managing or coaching sales reps across the technology sector.
- Personal experience managing full sales cycle or developing new business through prospection.
- You thrive in a high-energy environment and can be proactive in solving problems in and outside of your area.
- Excellent presentation and listening skills.
- Clear and thoughtful communicator with exceptional critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal, digital and written communication skills.
- Ability to contribute to building new processes and systems.
- You have the ability to streamline and develop workflows to increase the team’s effectiveness.
- Customer orientated with the ability to motivate others and drive standards of excellence.
- Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional; able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and relevant computer software and hardware.
- You are familiar with Salesforce and are comfortable making data-driven decisions.

The pay for this position is basic salary per annum of €50,000 with an additional variable bonus component of €10,000. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
