Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer Team Lead you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of software engineers to implement enhancements to the analysis software tools used by Magnetic, Geometric and Inertial as well as Integrity Engineering services
  • Developing new and ongoing improvement of existing analysis software tools
  • Participating in technical reviews, development of problem solutions and reporting and driving adherence to internal product development and related processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data science, electromechanical engineering and system engineering teams on project planning and execution
  • Collaborating with the ongoing in-house Digitization and Digital Transformation efforts to align sustaining & product development activities across platforms
  • Managing and planning the allocation of resources to meet demands
  • Engaging with internal & external stakeholders on ILI technology and product development
  • Proposing and leading continuous improvement initiative

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a degree from an accredited university or college in computer science or related discipline and 5+yrs experience leading software development activities and teams supporting production software
  • Have a track record of leading and delivering software development projects
  • Demonstrative experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams
  • Able to communicate with people at all levels and presenting to non-technical stakeholders
  • Able influence and gain solutions to meet project objectives
  • Proven experience in sound software engineering principle
