ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Team Leader, Payroll, you are expected to demonstrate strong leadership and understanding of the delivery of payroll services to clients and are expected to handle complex cases with clients. You are accountable for ensuring the team meet daily and weekly deliverables and using judgement when making decisions. In addition to Team Leader roles, we are also seeking suitable candidates to join our leave liability team. It is a team and client contact role, and you are required to provide advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

The role is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Leadership and management of the Payroll team
  • Undertaking complex tasks and providing timely, accurate advice on resolution of complex issues.
  • Experience in calculating and processing leave liabilities
  • Ensuring quality outcomes and service delivery excellence through analysis of available data.
  • Promoting achievement of continuous improvement though innovation.
  • Lead/Manage the creation and update of Procedures and processes and training of staff.
  • Adhere to relevant policies, procedures and frameworks.
