EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • 3+ years of laboratory experience
  • Experience in laboratory settings and GLP/GMP environments, preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service skills, data integrity, and experience working with various systems
  • Ability to work a flex schedule is required, some weekends and holidays
  • Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ Four-I Values
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work alongside various levels of personnel at the customer site including senior leadership

Responsibilities:

  • Provide reporting of metrics and data analytics
  • Participate in candidate selection process, train, and evaluate staff’s performance
  • Attend and participate in meetings and conference call with internal and external customers
  • Adhere to safety protocols as outlined by the client and Thermo Fisher Scientific
  • Provide cross coverage for other service areas
  • Assist with production runs on a multi-kilo scale
  • Operation and process monitoring of reaction equipment
  • Execution of equipment commissioning and qualification; Equipment maintenance and mechanical support for research equipment, assist with design and equipment modifications, develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules, review and upkeep of safe operating guidelines
  • Partner with research staff and Environmental Health and Safety to ensure safe operations at all times
  • Enforce all customer cGMP SOP’s, maintain cGMP logs daily, archive GMP documents, and maintain compliance with cGMP training
