Team Leader- Tech Stores
UK Defence Academy, Shrivenham

Full Time, Permanent (37 hours per week)
Salary of £27,500.00 plus benefits
Serco is contracted to provide Total Facilities Management to the Defence Academy of the UK (DA). This prestigious establishment is responsible for post-graduate education and most of the command, staff, leadership, Defence management, acquisition, and technology training for members of the UK Armed Forces and MOD Civil Servants. Serco supports the DA as the MOD’s primary link with UK universities and international military educational institutions.
Serco are recruiting for a Team Leader within the stores area at the Defence Academy.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Line Manager Duties and responsibilities for the lead storekeepers and storekeepers under his line management.
Deputise for the Senior Stores Supervisor during leave and absence.
Responsible for ensuring the monthly auditable returns have been completed and submitted on time.
Unit Application Administrator (UAA) for the Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI).
Responsible for the ensuring all MJDI management checks are processed.
Attendance at the Logistics Monthly Management meetings as required.
Responsible for briefing his staff on current Serco and Logistics Issues.
Receive, Issue, Control and Account for all equipment and stores within the Defence Academy and Lodger Units in accordance with current regulations.
Disposal of equipment in accordance with current regulations.
Responsibilities:
IT proficient – Basic level of MS Office products.
Management of Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) Trained.
Customer focused.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Able to work individually as well as part of a team.
Good organisational skills
