Croydon Health Services is looking for qualified and experienced Health Visitors eager to develop their leadership skills and shape the future of Public Health Nursing.
We offer 7 specialist areas aligned with the 6 High Impact Areas of the Healthy Child Programme. This unique model within London provides an exceptional opportunity to work at Band 7 level in Health Visiting while managing a caseload. You will lead initiatives across the borough, such as:
Team leadership and governance
Complex needs, SEND
Safeguarding children
Addressing inequalities, including homeless health
Practice education and facilitation
Infant feeding, healthy weight, and nutrition
Maternal mental health and perinatal-infant mental health

Team leader/Specialist Interest Lead for teams of Champions
To lead on the Healthy Child programme to improve the health outcomes and well-being of children, families and communities within Croydon acting as a named Health Visitor for a caseload.
The Team Lead will work closely with the Operational lead and staff to ensuring co-ordination of team activities and identifying and delivering joint priorities for improving outcomes for children and families in Croydon.
To directly line manage a Health Visiting team and Champions Group of teams within Croydon to ensure the delivery of a safe, effective Health Visiting service.
To be responsible for the day-to-day management of a defined group of staff and for the overall delivery of the team providing expert information and meeting performance standards.
To lead and monitor the quality, performance, and capacity of the identified team and work with
HV operational lead to identify and address risks, escalating as required.
