WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SHIFT LEAD FOR THE EXTRUSION FACILITY ON BEHALF OF OUR CLIENT IN LOUTH.

In this role you will manage one of our 4 shifts leading a team to ensure the safety, quality, production and hygiene standards. You will be responsible for motivating, empowering and leading the teams to always strive to make things right, make things better and make things happen.
You will be working on a 4 on 4 off basis with 2 days - 6am to 6pm, 2 nights - 6pm to 6am.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, coordinate and handover the production requirements to the highest standard

• Maintain the safety of operators and the environment at all times

• Completion of all Shift Lead Checks, Return to Work processes, order changes and production/quality procedures * Ensure all production is produced to the specifications required accurately.

• Maintain the housekeeping and hygiene standards to BRC standards at all times

• Ability to be able to cover the role of Process Operator in the event of absences
• Carry out performance and periodic reviews with operators on a regular basis
• Assist in the mentoring and training of operators as and when required.
