Team Leader – Supported Living

We are looking for a team leader to join the team in Westbury-on-Severn working with supported living, the salary is between £28,500-£30,500 depending on qualifications and experince. This is a very rewarding role working with Learning Disabilities joining a great team of dedicated support workers.
The support provided is centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs this includes developing daily living skills, accessing a wider community, personal care and medication needs. In this role you’ll also lead and support a team of support workers.
You will be a confident problem solver and creative thinker with good communication skills and have resilience to overcome challenges .. You will have experience working with people with a learning disability and developing skills within a team. You should have previous management experience and a relevant social care qualification and be a driver.
You will empower the people supported to live the lives they want to lead and provide great leadership and day-to-day supervision to a team of support workers. You will assist the area manager in the supervision, coaching and mentoring of the team. You will provide direct care and support to the people supported and model best practice.
You will co-ordinate the daily provision of support and activities for people we support to ensure the delivery of a high quality, responsive and efficient service. You’ll have finances and other resources to manage, along with legal requirements and standards of care to meet.
