We are a people-business with a strong focus on safety. Teamwork guides us to engage and sustain long-term relationships with our employees and customers. We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to join our TEAM at the GM site in Woodstock, ON.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a team lead in a warehouse or manufacturing environment;
• Janitorial / Warehouse cleaning experience is considered an asset;
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion;
• Minimum high school level education;
• Must meet all health and safety requirements, including a forklift medical;
• Must be a minimum 18 years of age;
• Reliable person with the ability to work independently;
• Ability to operate a ride-on scrubber, walk-behinds, snow blower, and forklift. (Training is provided.)
• Able to commute to the GM PDC Woodstock, Ontario site for work.

• Clean floors using a ride on scrubber and / or walk behind;
• Assist with shoveling and salting walkways in the winter;
• Assist with collecting dunnage using a forklift;
• Cleaning tasks include but are not limited to such as scrubbing, dust mopping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, window cleaning, etc.;
• Respond to various customer requests;
• Tasks involve heavy lifting, bending, pushing and pulling, prolonged standing, and walking an average of 18,000-20,000 steps in an 8 hour shift;
• Must wear proper PPE including safety shoes/boots, protective face wear, and gloves; as well as winter wear (e.g. winter coat, winter pants, boots, etc.);
• Follow all company safety policies, practices, and procedures;
• Other duties as assigned.
