We are looking for an enthusiastic hands-on individual who brings experience, professionalism, and a positive attitude to lead our talented team. As Team Leader, you will be directly involved in maintaining high-end properties across Boroondara and Stonnington, ensuring every detail meets our exceptional standards. In addition to leading by example, you will manage the day-to-day operations, motivate and support your team, and ensure our valued clients continue to receive the outstanding service they’ve come to expect.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in the retail or hospitality industry.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in horticulture
  • Experience in Irrigation and Pest Control
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving common goals.
  • Knowledge of plant-based products and a commitment to sustainability is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for inventory and team management.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Working with the team on-site maintaining our premium residential gardens, covering all aspects of the horticulture industry including irrigation and pest control
  • Oversee daily operations, maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality.
  • Implement and uphold best practices for customer service, product handling, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and execute training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, addressing discrepancies promptly and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
