TEAM LEADER (WHOLESALE)

Working directly with the Operations Manager and Wholesale Warehouse Supervisor, as our Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing the picking operation.

Responsibilities:
· Strive to reduce mis-picks by communicating out of stock items and short dated stock to various departments.
· Ensure customer orders are picked and packed correctly by the warehouse team.
· Reduce miss sales by checking zeros on pick sheets
Oversee the picking operation.
· Always searching for ways to improve the working environment and business processes of Wholegood that drive efficiencies to deliver additional profitability.
· Ensure a safe, enjoyable, and professional place to always work whilst strengthening client relationships to ensure the continued business operations.
· Ensure the business is awarded the relevant accreditation through high standards.
Supervise and evaluate workers to ensure all key roles are being carried out in a timely and efficient manner reallocating staff when required to do so.
Full Health and Safety compliance in all areas of the business and reporting of health and safety figures to the operations manager.
· Daily team brief to all staff on the orders due out and employee allocation for the day.
· Full end of shift checks of chiller and ambient sections, ensuring that the area is left clean and tidy.
· To provide feedback on both positive and negative aspects of employees work and support the team throughout the shift.
A minimum of 3 MHE observations per week, 1 near miss reported and 5 stop and searches to line manager.
· Daily handover sent to all senior manager emails, detailing days activity and KPI targeted measures achieved.
