Description:
ABOUT US
We’re a rapidly scaling company with a high-quality and complex proposition. Our mission within the Subscriber Growth team is to achieve world-class retention rates (ie NRR). With the growing team, we are opening a brand new Team Manager - AM role to take ownership of our account managers (AMs), reporting directly to the Head of Subscriber Growth. If you’re excited by the prospect of leading, motivating and growing our enthusiastic account management team then read on!
Responsibilities:
We’re a market leading data company that provides information and insight on UK businesses but provide unparalleled data around those in high growth. Our Account Management team works tirelessly to assist our subscribers in getting the most value out of our platform whilst also keeping an eye on our book value through renewal, upsell and cross-sell negotiations.
This is a huge opportunity to help manage and coach the Account Management department but also to contribute towards the wider business strategy as we grow. As the Team Manager for AMs you’ll be in charge of your own team of Account Managers, with an expectation that you’ll be growing that number alongside planning and delivering new ways of working.
Systems, processes, team strategy and more will all be within your remit. You will be working closely with our Head of Subscriber Growth & broader leadership team, contributing to everything from our data and feature development pipelines to our long-term commercial strategy.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of Account Managers (management & coaching).
Being accountable for the retention and growth of your team’s existing book: Guiding and motivating your team to hit and exceed targets, bringing energy, enthusiasm and practical advice to ensure the team exceeds targets and contributes to the commercial success of the company.
️ Monitor and report on team performance: activity, pipeline, forecasts and closed renewals
Managing, coaching and growing a team: you will help all levels of the Account Management team to grow professionally and develop new skills.
Implementing new processes & systems: what should we be putting in place to efficiently and effectively support our customers? How can we measure whether that is working or not? You’ll bring ideas and an iterative, data-led approach to these problems.
Participate in the hiring and interviewing process, as well as training and ramping up new team members.
