At LPFT, our Community Forensic team, work with service users to support them to live their best lives in the community. We do this by providing specialist assessments and interventions for our patient group including those within the transforming care cohort.
We work with mentally disordered offenders who present a significant risk of harm to others by nature of their mental disorder, including those registered at MAPPA and those subject to conditional discharge under Part 3 of the Mental Health Act, Supervised Community Treatment Orders (CTO’s) as well as those with complex needs/presentations. The team also provide services to the transforming care cohort meeting the above criteria.

You will be responsible for leading the team in the provision of high quality multi-disciplinary care, using clinical and operational expertise. You will share our Trust values and will be committed to providing care that is focused on recovery.
You should have substantial post registration experience of working with individuals with complex mental health needs, along with a sound understanding of the principles, ethos, assessments, and interventions associated with a forensic service. Additionally, you should have experience of providing effective clinical and managerial supervision and leadership to others.
