Team Manager - Community Mental Health Service

Will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership and management of the South Somerset Community Mental Health Service team, providing services to patients in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints. Will ensure a high standard of care and treatment for patients and to work with other members of the team and other agencies to best meet the patients’ health and social needs. Will play an active role in the development of services in line with the Trust’s Strategy and Business Plan. Will provide clinical support and supervision to staff within the team and to provide clinical leadership.
The post holder will work within a Community Mental Health Service that has challenged the traditional boundaries between primary and secondary care in partnership with Service Users and the Voluntary Sector and Community Enterprise. The post holder must have a full driving licence and have permanent access to own transport with appropriate business insurance
