Summary
We are looking for a “Team Manager Survivability Systems (f/m/d)” for the “Survivability” division at the Oberkochen or Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.
The “Survivability” area deals with warning sensors, self-protection systems, laser-based countermeasures, situational awareness systems, reconnaissance sensors and laser products, among other things. The program area is made up of product and project managers and is responsible for handling national and international customer projects as well as internal development projects.

Your Tasks

  • Leading a team of product and project managers
  • Strategic orientation of the product group within the framework of strategic planning
  • Active market development, establishment and expansion of long-term customer relationships
  • Implementation of a successful product policy
  • Participation in operational planning, R & D planning and personnel planning
  • Monitoring compliance with this planning as well as proposing and initiating corrective measures in the event of target/actual deviations
  • Supporting sales in the acquisition phase by providing technical and program-related information
  • Creating cooperation strategies
  • Implementing cooperation strategies through targeted negotiations with the relevant international partners
  • Securing strategically relevant and economically profitable workshare shares

Your Profile

  • Degree in electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
  • Several years of project management and/or sales experience
  • A military background and confidence in dealing with the military are advantageous
  • Industry and product knowledge advantageous
  • Assertiveness and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong team skills, communication skills and interpersonal interface management
  • Fluent German and good English skills
