MŌ TĒNEI TŪRANGA MAHI | ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Animal Technology Team Manager to become part of a high performing leadership team at the Centre for Applied Science and Primary Industries, Wintec/ Te Pukenga.
Based at Wintec’s Rotokauri campus you will be part of leading change improvements to modernise and improve both business processes and teaching practices.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the Animal Technology team towards high performance, managing the day-to-day academic and business activities of your teams of tutors, and ensuring resources are in place for a quality learning environment.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $120,000 up to $128,000, dependent on skills and experience.
The Team Leader Animal Technology is based in our Wintec | Te Pūkenga, Rotokauri Campus, reporting to the Group Director and will be responsible to:
- Effectively lead staff to ensure an engaged, high performing and flexible team.
- Deliver successful ākonga outcomes by providing leadership and management in teaching quality, research (if appropriate) and effective programme management.
- Effectively manage budgets, quality and risk within areas of responsibility.
- Successfully building and maintaining relationships with all key stakeholders
