Description:

Simpson Race Products, a leader in automotive safety products, has an opening for a Team Sales Representative in Mooresville, NC! This business development/sales and support role focuses on identifying opportunities, growing an existing account base, and developing new business. The successful candidate will maintain current accounts, prioritize new accounts, and manage account setup through the first purchase order. In addition, the Team Sales Representative is expected to travel 70% of the time and provide knowledgeable technical support in the field to the customer base.
This position will work directly with the WoO/Dirt Track sales teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED):

  • Minimum of 3+ years of sales field experience.
  • CDL required. If not in possession of a CDL, please let us know so we can obtain credentials.
  • Experience with the Motorsports/Racing industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • High school diploma required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to handle physical requirements, including but not limited to, repeated bending stretching, twisting, and lifting up-to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend and represent Simpson at race events, customer shows, and tradeshows to build relationships within the performance industry.
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the agreed-upon goals and objectives.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how specific Holley products and services could meet these needs.
  • Identify professional race engine shops for potential direct account status.
  • Support high-level motorsports dealers and customers.
  • Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Emphasize product features based on an analysis of customer’s needs and technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
  • Utilize current selling strategies and market information to ensure effective sales results and maximize sales potential by account.
  • Increase customer base in assigned territory and increase current customer sales volume.
  • Must be committed, results-oriented.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
