What you will need to bring to the Team Supervisor role from day one:
- Previous experience in a Senior customer service role
- Experience in developing and utilising product knowledge, eager to understand our product range and the wider Sunbelt business
- Exceptional communication skills including negotiating and influencing. You’ll have the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external customers
- Comfortable using your own judgment and initiative to make decisions in line with our company policies and pricing structures
- An effective team member with a highly supportive, collaborative approach
- A flexible and adaptable approach, you’ll enjoy a varied work day in a fast-paced operational environment where you’ll manage multiple tasks, deadlines and targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy
- A commitment to continuous improvement, puts forward and acts on suggestions to improve processes and service levels
- A good level of computer literacy in MS Office packages. You’ll embrace learning new IT systems and enjoy making the most of technology in your job role

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE

In the role of a Team Supervisor you will assist the Hire Desk Team Manager in the day to day running of the hire desk. You will be responsible for :
- Leading and coaching colleagues on the hire desk
- Help to develop a strong team spirit within the team to ensure that all customers experience excellent customer service.
- Communications with customers on the telephone, via email and responding to website requests.
- You’ll manage an order from enquiry to post-hire feedback, taking ownership of the customer journey and building relationships with regular customers.
- Partner with Account Managers and others to ensure customer requirements are delivered
- Review all feedback to identify trends and issues and instigate and implement appropriate improvements
- Ensure that all customer contact is dealt with in accordance with Company policy and SLA agreements.
- Ensure that any customer complaints are dealt with and escalated in accordance with Company policy and SLA timescales.
- Ensure that all administration is completed in accordance with Company standards.
- Managing the team of agents in the absence of the Hire Desk Team Manager
