Your future employer is a fast-growing midsized company (based in the Nuremberg Region) that has been in the market for 20 years. The company is focused on long-term goals and is currently comprised of more than 300 employees and seeking a skilled Teamlead Accounting (m/f/d) to join the dynamic team. You will report directly to the Senior VP Finance & Controlling.
Aufgaben

Your Tasks

• Management, further development and motivation of employees in accounts payable and receivable.
• Interface management with management, controlling and other specialist departments as well as external partners such as tax consultants and auditors.
• Management of projects, e.g. insourcing of accounting with DATEV from the tax consultant
• Responsibility for preparing the parent company’s monthly and annual financial statements i.a.w. HGB
• Overseeing all aspects of accounting including operational processes, monthly financial reports, internal controls and accounting policies.
• Initiation of change and optimization processes (esp. standardization, automation, digitalization) in accounting and the relevant interdisciplinary processes.
• Contact person for special accounting and tax cases.
• Active involvement in the introduction of a new ERP system

Qualifikation

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance and accounting
• Ideally further training as an accountant
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in an auditing firm and/or a company and with financial statements of international subsidiaries
• Strong expertise in accounting in accordance with HGB and US GAAP (or at least IFRS) and corporate taxation
• Several years of people management experience
• Project management skills required
• Precise, structured and independent way of working with high quality standards
• Business fluent in German and English
