Description:

We are looking for a Leader of our Test Automation Team who is passionate about taking the quality of our products to the next level. The ideal person for this role has extensive experience in test automation, a deep understanding of quality assurance and excellent leadership and communication skills.
As part of the management team, you will play a key role in the further development of our test strategies and methods. You will work closely with a technically skilled and motivated team, foster collaboration between departments and drive innovation in our automation processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing the eight-person test automation team: Supporting team members in their professional and personal development as well as the personnel planning for future positions in the team
  • Promoting a collaborative culture in which team members learn from each other and work together to find solutions
  • Ensuring the continuous development of test processes: Identifying opportunities for optimisation and implementing improvements in test processes
  • Exchange between teams: Close coordination with the QA and development teams to achieve optimal integration of automated tests
  • Understanding of quality assurance: Ensuring that test automation is aligned with the company’s QA objectives and contributes to the overall quality of the software
  • Creating and analysing metrics: Ensuring that meaningful metrics are created for quality assurance and for the efficiency of test automation in order to derive continuous improvements and to make progress measurable
  • Implementing company strategy in the area of responsibility: Planning the division’s strategy and driving forward the associated topics and goals
