Our Tech and High Growth team in London are growing, and we’re currently seeking an Audit Manager to join them on their journey.

ABOUT THE DAY TO DAY…

As an Audit Manager, you’ll be working with our Tech & High Growth clients alongside our Directors and Partners, getting stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including;

  • Focusing on planning, executing, and finalising all areas of audit assignments
  • Reviewing assignments, providing constructive feedback and support to the team
  • Managing a portfolio of clients and communicating engagement progress, problems, financial information and other business concerns
  • Participating in networking and building client relationships
  • Supporting partners with business development activities and client tender processes
  • Getting actively involved in the guidance and development of Juniors

The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey. With access to a wide range of knowledge to help push yourself further - from Managers to Partners, the team are always happy to support you.
About you…:
At Cooper Parry, we’re in it together. All we ask of our people is that they play all in. You’ll continuously strive to keep learning – whether you’re a trainee or a Partner – and you’ll be brave, stepping out of your comfort zone to tackle new challenges. Above all, be nice. A simple notion, but an irreplaceable part of what makes CP, CP.

In addition to those core values, as an Audit Manager you should;

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • If you are an Assistant Manager looking for the next step in your career, you must have 3 years of experience
  • Demonstratable experience managing a variety of audit assignments
  • Bags of personality, you’re good with people and, oh… you’ll be pretty good with numbers too
  • The desire to push, challenge, and develop your career
  • A keen interest in working with Tech & High Growth companies (experience in this area is desirable)

About us…:
We’ve been dubbed ‘the rebels of accountancy’. So, we don’t give run-of-the-mill advice.
We’re straight-talking. Never afraid to share our opinions. We put people and relationships before products and services, and deliver a streamlined, client-focused service – free from unnecessary red tape.
That’s how we’ve become the fastest-growing accountancy firm in the UK, and we’ve never been the type to rest on our laurels.

Over the last couple of years alone, we’ve achieved some fantastic feats:

  • Partnered with Waterland Private Equity in July 2022, and are now on a lightning-fast growth journey
  • Ranked No.1 in the Accountancy Age Mid-Tier Power Index in 2022
  • Best Companies’ No.1 Accountancy Firm & No.30 Best Large Company to Work For in the UK
  • Became B Corp Certified in 2023 and we’re still the UK’s largest accountancy B Corp, measuring and improving our impact beyond business for a brighter tomorrow
  • Came No.3 overall at the Inspiring Workplace Awards in 2024, against all businesses of all sizes in the UK and Ireland. We were recognised as “Best-in-class” for Inspiring Culture and Purpose, Wellbeing, Employee Voice and Employee Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Focusing on planning, executing, and finalising all areas of audit assignments
  • Reviewing assignments, providing constructive feedback and support to the team
  • Managing a portfolio of clients and communicating engagement progress, problems, financial information and other business concerns
  • Participating in networking and building client relationships
  • Supporting partners with business development activities and client tender processes
  • Getting actively involved in the guidance and development of Junior
