YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
- Establishing a strong engineering culture within the backend chapter, with focus on code quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Lead technical discussions within the team and be the go-to person for the team for guidance and troubleshooting
- Understand, implement and measure key Business and Engineering metrics around performance, quality and availability, and work regularly with the team to push the boundaries and improve them periodically
- Foster and build a culture of actively engaging team members in engineering and design discussions
- Set up solid process and practices around code quality, conventions and standards
- Help delivery teams in grooming and prioritisation of Technical Debts
- Leading and Contributing towards organisation wide tech initiatives and transformations
- Mentoring and coach backend software engineers
- Help the organisation in building a top quality team by participating in hiring initiatives
What is needed to succeed in this Role?
- 5+ years’ experience in large enterprise
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s – ideally in IT related field
- Demonstrated ability in building, launching and growing products
- A strong understanding of the Salesforce Service Cloud and proven proficiency in the Next Best Action framework, understanding components, configuration options and capabilities for personalized recommendations.
- Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with external data sources, systems and API’s to access customer data and enrich decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to create highly personalized customer experiences by leveraging Next Best Action recommendations across various channels, including email, mobile, web and social media.
- Ability to deliver results in global, matrixed environments comprised of internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
- Organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Good communication skills, should be able to articulate thoughts and ideas to engineering and non engineering audiences.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and workflows
- Professional scrum certification (Scale, Agile Leadership) a plus.
