Description:

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Tech Lead to head up our Design System team—a critical role in shaping how all our product teams build and share UI components across our platform.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You have experience leading technical teams, especially in UI component development.
- You have a keen eye and appreciation for design and its quality when implementing it in code.
- You’re hands-on with MUI, React, HTML5/JS/CSS, and have experience working with StoryBook or similar tools.
- Solid experience in CSS architecture and practices, cross browser concerns, layout, current and upcoming standards, responsive/adaptive design, WAI and WCAG.
- You have a strong collaborative mindset and thrive in working closely with multiple and various stakeholders internally.
- You’ve worked with micro-frontend patterns and understands the challenges of creating scalable, reusable components across multiple teams.
- Most importantly, you’re passionate about UI technology and excited to collaborate with UX and other teams to build something great!

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
In this role, you will:
- Own the development and maintenance of our design system using MUI, React, core HTML5/JS/CSS, StoryBook, and micro-frontend patterns.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency in component usage and standards, while allowing flexibility for teams to meet their unique needs.
- Lead the technical decisions, coordinating with product and UX teams to drive innovation, leading to conclusion and adoption.
- Coach and Mentor developers on UI best practices, ensuring we’re always pushing the envelope in terms of design and user experience.
- Help establish this team from scratch—it’s an exciting opportunity to apply your experience, grow with the team, and make an impact from day one.
