REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or Master degree (ideally in the direction of Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence).
  • 0-3 years of working experience (FMCG, Retailer, Market Research). Note: relevant working experience in context of internships or working student activities also applies!
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Project management skills (ability to run multiple projects at the same time).
  • Operational discipline (can do attitude, strong focus on getting things done).
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

In his role you will be part of the Shopper & Analytics Solutions team in The Netherlands. Your main focus is to support our experienced Insights consultants in the set-up and insights delivery phases of our Shopper and Analytics projects. In time you will conduct smaller projects independently, for larger projects you work closely together with an experienced Insights consultant.
Our shopper projects are executed in close collaboration with our network of research partners. Together with one of our Insights Consultants you will be responsible for executing our Shopper solutions projects from A to Z. After the full scope of the Shopper research is aligned with the client, you will be responsible for the overall project management, these tasks consist of coordinating and aligning with our external research partners, making sure tasks are being executed and deadlines are met. Next to this you will support the Insight Consultant in setting up the shopper research (e.g. creating the survey), analyzing the data and creating the deliverables (presentations and reports). Our goal is to pinpoint what matters most and to provide actionable insights resulting in clear recommendations to our clients in order for them to grow their business.
Our Analytics solutions are executed in collaboration with our in-house Analytics Center of Excellence (ACE) in Athens. For these larger analytics studies, you formulate specifications, collect the required input data and support in visualizing and translating the results into actionable insights for the client in a clear manner. In close collaboration with the lead consultant you are responsible for executing projects from start to end with a key focus on Marketing Analytics. For instance: optimizing price setting, improving promotional calendars, higher media return on investments, selecting an assortment that matters most to shoppers or forecasting studies all based on (retailer) sales data.
You will learn on the job under the guidance of our more experienced Insights Consultants and gradually build your knowledge and gain experience in the Shopper & Analytics field. Eventually you will become an expert in our Shopper & Analytics solutions and get skilled in project management and develop your ability to create impactful insights for leading FMCG companies. You are actively encouraged to develop yourself and gain experience, knowledge and expertise in the Shopper & Analytics field. In time you have the opportunity to become a trusted advisor to both our internal sales organization and our clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the primary contact for our external research partners and in-house modelling team - Analytics Center of Excellence (ACE).
  • Responsible for project set-up/scoping e.g.: collect & check sales data and other 3rd party data, set-up survey, etc.
  • Quality assurance: performing quality checks in the set-up and delivery stage of the projects.
  • Project planning: track deadlines and pro-actively signal possible issues to all internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting in processing the results into high quality insights presentations.
  • Visualize data/results in a clear and creative way.
