EXCITING OPPORTUNITY: TECHNICAL ADVISOR AT FRUITWAYS!

Location: Agri-services Office, Grabouw
Reporting to: Grower Services Manager
Are you passionate about horticulture and eager to make a significant impact in the agri-industry? Fruitways is looking for a dynamic Technical Advisor to join our team! This pivotal role offers the chance to provide expert technical support and advice to our grower community.

Responsibilities:

  • Harvesting Excellence: Lead the implementation of harvesting decision-making processes through effective coordination, communication, and on-farm visits.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Keep stakeholders informed with up-to-date crop information and harvest strategies.
  • Information Management: Update and maintain our orchard and grower database, leveraging this information to drive effective crop management.
  • Program Management: Oversee special markets orchard registrations and delivery, collaborating with all stakeholders to optimise market access.
  • Quality Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret fruit quality data to generate insightful analysis and feedback to growers.
