Technical Analyst (Cloud Engineer)

Augustine Consulting Inc., (ACI) is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of systems engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced Technical Analyst to serve as a part of the Company’s Engineering Services team that supports PEO Soldier.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a High School diploma and 14 years’ experience or, Associate’s degree and 12 years’ experience or, Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience or, Master’s degree and 0 years’ experience.
• Comfortable taking on tasks and responsibilities that involve more than networking.
• Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing to convey IT and cloud technologies.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and contributing to technical documentation.
• Ability to travel to customer locations and supporting customer engagement locations.
• Security+ certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Administrator experience with Linux operating systems specifically with CLI.
• Experience with virtualization, specifically Vmware.
• Experience with Windows server.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with proven experience viewing logs and solving issues. Experience in a helpdesk environment is a plus.
• Strong written skills and customer service etiquette.
• Familiar with JIRA products.
• Familiar with networking concepts and technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, VPN, LAN.
• Experience with PALO ALTO firewalls

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as PowerShell or Ansible
• CERTS: Cisco Certified Network Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• Experience: Military experience or a basic understanding of DoD communications equipment and acronyms
• Current with AWS technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Experience with containerization platforms such as Dockers or Kubernetes
• An understanding of database concepts
• Experience with TAK products.

The Technical Analyst provides the highest technician-level support, often in the form of assistance to other engineers, technical specialists, and analysts, generally as an integral component of a complete solution to identified customer requirements. Will focus on integrating and testing individual TAK products and overall server infrastructure.
