What will your role be

Royal De Heus operates in various regions, including Africa. Previously, individual business units used their own IT landscapes. A standard approach has been developed for this. This means the same CRM, the same ERP package, and the same business applications for all. And this is where your role begins! The applications are custom-developed to meet our needs. You specialize in managing these and troubleshooting technical disruptions. This involves:

• Managing and optimizing of our custom-developed applications.
• Supporting the local business units with technical 2nd and 3rd line queries.
• Coordinating technical issues with suppliers when you cannot resolve them yourself.
• Creating documentation and user manuals.

• A salary between € 4.250,- and € 5.750,- based on 40 hours per week;

• The possibility to work 40/36/32 hours per week;

About Royal De Heus
You will work at the headquarters of Royal De Heus in Ede, one of the largest family businesses in the Netherlands. We are an international company focused on animal feed. We produce and supply animal feed products for various animals, including poultry, pigs, cattle, and pets. Internally, you will experience a down-to-earth and entrepreneurial atmosphere. Worldwide we have dozens of production locations. The Global IT department consists of about 40 colleagues. The team you will work with is new and initially consists of 3 colleagues, including you. Together, the focus is on a uniform IT landscape within Royal De Heus. To achieve this, you may sometimes travel to Africa ! On the work floor, it is essential to speak English; good command of the Dutch language is an advantage in dealing with your Dutch colleagues.
What do we ask of you?

• Minimum MBO4 working and thinking level.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Application Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience with business applications, ERP systems, SQL databases, SQL queries, .NET, and C#.
• Fluent command of the English language.
