Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Configuration: Setup and configure high-availability applications including:
  • Fraud and fraud prevention systems
  • File transfer systems for secure internal and external data exchange
  • Web services (Apache/IIS/NGINX)
  • Application servers (JBoss/Tomee/Wildfly)
  • Kafka
  • Docker and Kubernetes environments
  • System Administration: Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain a stable 24/7 operation of application systems and databases on both Linux (Redhat/Centos) and Windows (2012-2019).
  • Scripting: Create, understand, and modify scripts (Shell, Batch, Powershell) as needed for automation and maintenance tasks.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Oversee, log, document, and administer highly available application solutions, addressing any issues to ensure operational security, performance, and compliance, including adherence to standards such as PCIDSS, ISO27001, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements like KRITIS.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Handle the analysis and resolution of system and database errors as part of the Incident Management process. Address service requests and ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
  • Change Management: Plan and execute changes within the ITIL Change Management framework. Ensure that all changes are documented in the Configuration Management Database and the Service Management Tool.
  • Capacity and Performance Monitoring: Monitor system landscapes for performance and capacity issues. Adjust and improve monitoring systems as needed.
  • Security and Compliance: Execute security and compliance-related processes, documenting and reporting the results to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Project Involvement: Collaborate with project teams to implement internal and external customer requirements. Participate in various projects to enhance system capabilities.
  • Internal Support: Serve as a point of contact for business departments, assisting them with problem-solving and system enhancements.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee and coordinate the work of external IT service providers.
  • 24/7 On-Call Duty: Participate in a 24/7 on-call duty rotation to ensure round-the-clock support and system availability
