Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for asset maintenance processes and applications? Are you excited by the prospect of driving significant improvements in business processes through the effective use of technology such as EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)? We are looking for a proactive and experienced Technical Application Owner to oversee our asset maintenance applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and optimization of our application portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, streamline processes, and implement innovative solutions that support our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the IT Manager, you add value and are energized by key areas of oversight such as:

  • Leading the technical ownership and roadmap for asset maintenance applications, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet operational needs.
  • Managing the full lifecycle of applications, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Driving integration efforts between asset maintenance processes and other enterprise processes and applications, such as purchasing, inventory, finance, and human resource, to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Establishing and enforcing best practices in application development, configuration management, and deployment processes.
  • Monitoring system performance and security, proactively addressing issues and implementing enhancements to optimize application performance.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to application support teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
