Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Technical Application Scientist qPCR (m/f/d) who demonstrates exceptional work behaviors and drive to join our world-class Information Technology team. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years laboratory experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field, preferably in molecular biology or a related area. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience in qPCR applications and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ambitious and self-motivated with a passion for driving innovation
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Fluent English plus one of the following: Italian, French or German languages (spoken and written). Additional European languages are an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical application support for quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) instruments and reagents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement new technologies and products
- Provide flawless technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to customers
- Accurately record pertinent information from customer contacts in our Customer Relationship Management system and assist in the development of continuous improvement.
- Proactively determine customer needs and provide innovative solutions
- Keep up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements in qPCR technology
- Participate in training on products and continuing education on our new applications and technologies.
