Technical Architect QA/QC

at  Urban Landscapes

Primary objective of the Technical Architect (QA/QC) is to oversee the quality assurance and quality control processes across all phases of landscape architectural design, construction documentation, and project delivery.
-Develop and implement QA processes to ensure design accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
-Conduct design reviews at key project milestones to validate compliance with standards, codes, and client specifications.
-Establish benchmarks, templates, and best practices to enhance the quality of deliverables.
-Perform detailed checks of architectural drawings, construction documents, and specifications to identify errors or inconsistencies.
-Review and verify materials, finishes, and techniques for adherence to design intent and project requirements.
-Work closely with design, estimation, and construction teams to resolve quality issues.
-Act as a liaison between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, to ensure alignment on quality expectations.
-Stay updated on local, national, and international architectural standards and requirements.
-Prepare QA/QC reports highlighting quality assessments, non-compliance issues, and recommendations for improvement.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Minimum 5 years of regional experience in similar establishments.
2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of architectural design processes, regional flora and landscape construction techniques/materials.
4. Familiarity with QA/QC frameworks and tools.
5. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
   Job Type: Full-time
   Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
