• Background

The Unit 4 Stabilization Programme requires a highly skilled technical architect on a temporary basis to assist in looking at the Surrey County Council set up of My Surrey. This will involve looking at Forms, Service Calls, Workflows, Security and our procurement and finance set up. Once reviewed the architect should make recommendations of how our Unit 4 architecture can be stabilized and improved. This is not a hands-on role to do the technical work but to advise on the overall architecture and setup of various elements of Unit 4 and advise on technical solutions.

• Role Description
• To review the Unit 4 architecture within SCC and document as appropriate
• To advise on the set up of security and make recommendations
• To advise on the Unit 4 workflow and make recommendations
• To advise on the Service call and Forms set up and make recommendations
• To work with our Managed Service Provider and Unit 4 to agree and plan solutions
• This role will be involved in delivering the Unit 4 Stabilization Programme and report to the Lead Solutions Architect and the Programme Leads.
• This role may on occasion be asked to present their findings to the Sponsors and Senior Boards.
• There is no line management within this post.
• The role will collaborate extensively with the whole programme team.
• The role is to help SCC stabilize the Unit 4 platform so it can transition to BAU
• To share knowledge and upskill SCC team members
