Do you have extensive working knowledge of Public Health services design? Are you ready to take on a leading role in a team of Public Health engineers? Then you might be our new colleague!
We invite you to bring your expertise and enthusiasm into play as a senior member of our national Public Health team. To succeed in this role, you will be client focussed and have experience of working in a design capacity with demonstrable skills in leading major projects across multiple sectors.

You will be part of our a highly dynamic Building Services team, who has an in-depth focus on technical delivery and an excellent understanding of client care. You will be an important part of a close-knit team working on a wide variety of high-profile project work in and around the UK and (occasionally) internationally. Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE

As our new Technical Associate/Associate Director, your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Mentor, develop and support an established and stable team of Public Health Engineers.
  • Protect and develop the quality of our designs and provide technical and pastoral mentoring to the Public Health team locally and nationally.
  • Drive and deliver projects profitably and to the satisfaction of our clients.
  • Support our work winning activities with the development of technical strategies and demonstration of market leading expertise in the field.
  • Work as part of a small leadership team who are collectively responsible for the strategic direction and financial performance of the Building Services team.
  • Liaise and interact with other UK Building Services teams to optimise technical direction and use of standard procedures and digital tools.
  • Support and develop our Public Health Colleagues across the globe.
  • Manage technical risk, negotiate scope of services and prepare fee proposals.

The key deliverables over the first 12-24 months for this role will be:

  • Protect and raise the profile and reputation of Ramboll’s building services offering by upskilling our Public Health engineering functions and having a direct hand in our projects.
  • Help develop and promote Ramboll’s technical capability in the local market.
  • Maintain excellent levels of client service.
  • Focus on expanding our team’s Public Health design skills, systematically reducing risk and improving efficiency in our delivery of low and net zero carbon design solutions.
  • Attract talented recruits to grow a skilled, dynamic, efficient and highly regarded PH team.
  • Support and contribute to our business plan, working within the ethos defined by our mission and values.
