Description:

Location: Farnborough (3-4 days per week)
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experienced in the production of technical documentation as part of a recognised quality process to a high standard of written and technical standard.
  • Knowledge of defence documentation standards
  • Strong track record of editing, proofreading and quality control within defence.
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate and influence a wide variety of stakeholders internally & externally.
    Security Clearance: This position requires the eligibility and ability to obtain and hold UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

Responsibilities:

As the Quality and Technical author you will work closely with project managers, key suppliers and subject matter experts to both create and review clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for complex subjects. This role will be integral to ensuring that the project is delivered with comprehensive processes, guides, manuals, and specifications that align with the high standards required across defence. You will also undertake the following:

  • The production of high quality, defence compliant, technical documentation
  • Identifying and reviewing documentation and drawing conclusions as to project impacts
  • Create clear, concise & accurate documentation that communicates complex information to various audiences, including technical and non-technical users
  • Work with stakeholders to gather accurate information and agree what requires documentation, as well as quality assurance of stakeholder documentation.
  • Quality control of internal/supplier documentation
