THE OPPORTUNITY

We are working with a leading private health insurer, assisting them to manage a large and complex portfolio of work and are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join the team on a contract basis until the end of December 2024. This is a hybrid role and will see you working in the Melbourne CBD office 3 days per week.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to manage a complex portfolio of work. Your responsibilities will include rolling out Windows 11 for specific users, conducting fact-finding, analyzing tools used by these users, and documenting recommendations. Additionally, you’ll work closely with SMEs to document enterprise backup processes, disaster recovery, and related information. Lastly, you’ll contribute to the decommissioning of an existing virtualization platform..

To be successful in this role, you will have experience with the following:

  • Proven experience in Agile or Waterfall project delivery as a Business/Functional Analyst
  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Windows deployment and Citrix is highly desirable
  • Ability to collaborate with SMEs and communicate findings effectively
  • Extensive experience with documenting business requirements and functional design through user stories, wireframes, screen mockups
  • Experience with negotiating with users, technical staff and product owners to achieve desired outcomes
  • Experience in undertaking process re-engineering, including capturing business process as-is and to-be states in process flows
  • Experience in showcasing system solutions and assisting with User Acceptance Testing
  • Experience in technical writing i.e. user manuals and functional documentation
  • Experience performing gap analyses of existing systems and software to identify areas of improvement
  • Experience in collaborating with technical teams to efficiently plan and implement configurations, installations, or updates
  • Experience in System Testing preparation and execution
