About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available in the Payments and Collections Management team as a Technical Business Analyst.
As a core member of the Credit & Collections Platform squad you will be working closely with the Product Owner, Functional Architect’s and delivery partners to bridge the gap between business and technical requirements with the goal of deploying & embedding a modern SaaS decisioning platform into the AGL Customer Markets architecture.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end elicitation, management & deployment of the business & technical requirements within the workstream. Throughout the program you will be responsible (in collaboration with the Product Owner) for backlog management, grooming and prioritisation as well as work across the program to identify, document and prioritise dependencies for quarterly release planning.
This role will be working closely with delivery partners to ensure cohesion across systems dependencies including the documentation of requirements, technical configurations and overseeing test cases to ensure minimal defects throughout the development lifecycle

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be facilitating collaboration with stakeholders to drive the definition of objectives & requirements, influencing where appropriate to ensure best practice
  • Decomposing features into epics and stories (utilising I.N.V.E.S.T. best practices)
  • Documenting detailed requirements with supporting acceptance and testing criteria scenarios
  • Facilitating agile estimation, prioritisation, and planning workshops, identifying and managing inter-team, inter-train, and other external dependencies
  • Maintaining functional documentation as a suite for all platform functionality

What you’ll bring:

  • Multiple instances of proficiently delivering complex, large initiatives end-to-end in an agile environment
  • Strong understanding of enterprise decisioning engines, logic & processing
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and effectively manage expectations
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with focus on detail & quality documentation
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including:
  • An advanced ability to collaborate with, influence, and align individual stakeholders (including strong-willed) and teams (including large / distributed)
  • An advanced conflict resolution skillset – independent, proactive & professional defusal of friction involving self or others
