Description:

Emeco Group (ASX: EHL) was founded in 1972 and is a world leader in maximising the performance of heavy earthmoving equipment. It has operations in all key mining regions of Australia and its customers include mining companies and contractors across coal, gold, copper, bauxite and iron ore.
We’re on the hunt for a Technical Business Analyst to join our growing IT team. We are looking for someone who has strong analytical understanding capable of predicting and identifying enhancements to system processes, throughout the implementation of new business systems.

The Role:

  • Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements.
  • Analysing and interpreting relevant data in accordance with business reporting requirements (costs, productivity, demand patterns, etc.).
  • Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
  • Creating functional specifications for solutions.
  • Implementing and testing of solutions.
  • Supporting business transition and helping to establish change.
  • Plays a key role in the implementation of business software and technology related projects
  • Assists in the development and delivery of training to key stakeholders and end users
  • Develops recommendations to support business operations.

Your Credentials:

  • Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (desirable).
  • Experience with business analytics
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent process management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with individuals at all organisational levels
  • In depth understanding of MS Great Plains
  • Good understanding of corporate finance
