REQUIREMENTS
- Conduct analysis of business issues, technical challenges and help articulate business impact and value
- Identify, gather, analyse and document business requirements and translate these into technical specifications
- Partner with key technical stakeholders to identify solution options, articulating pro-cons for each and assist in designing solution architecture.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and partner stakeholders in defining and mapping business process, also help them in prioritisation based on business impact and value
- Distil requirements into succinct scenarios (user stories) with acceptance criteria and validation rules
- Prepare delivery plan (including resource plan, schedule and relevant progress tracking mechanism) for end to end value delivery
- Report progress to Senior Stakeholders and Exec groups, including risk, issues and dependencies
- Coordinate and assist with User Acceptance Testing for technical implementations
- Assist with developing test data and participate in planning and executing system and integration testing in conjunction with operational staff
- Support change management activities - Work with Power Users to develop user support guidelines and documentation to ensure processes are followed correctly and data integrity is maintained
- Conduct release planning and support deployment activities
- Collaborate with external partners and key internal stakeholders to transition projects to BAU management
- Contribute to the assessment of integrating third-party applications into existing systems
- Maintain an understanding of the technology landscape to make recommendations for resolving business issues and process inefficiencies.
- Maintain and foster healthy and productive engagement and relationships with partner stakeholders
- Support IT Management by facilitating relevant Agile rituals effectively and also provide relevant information required for project management and governance
- Promote Agile ways of working and help team in improving their understating of agile methodology
Responsibilities:
This position is a hybrid role based in OES’ central Birmingham office (2-3 days per week) with the remainder working from your home.
