Description:
Mō te tūranga | About the Role
As a Technical Business Analyst you will have a passion for solving complex problems and be extremely customer focused with a desire to achieve great outcomes. You will have knowledge and hands-on experience of delivery for a cloud-based solution. Additionally, a big part of this role is to help with testing ensuring high quality products are being provided to our stakeholders and customers. You will be working in an Agile environment with a hybrid operating model for delivery of enhancements to the platform.
- Run and manage stakeholder requirement sessions
- Develop and refine user stories and assist with backlog management
- Engage with our platform vendor
- Translate business requirements to technical delivery
- Work with both stakeholders and developers ensuring alignment on what is being asked and what is being delivered.
- Design, implement and execute manual test strategies and develop test cases.
- Have a continuous improvement mindset to and look broader on how we can do things better
- Engage in incident management activities
- Expected to be on-call for incident management
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
- Proven experience running stakeholder workshops for change requirements
- Ability to understand and document solutions
- Demonstrable ability to develop meaningful relationships both with internal and external stakeholders
- Experienced with Agile delivery methodology including working with stakeholder to develop and refine user stories and assist with backlog management
- Experience in executing API/Web Service testing (Postman) and Test Management (Zephyr Scale, JIRA)
- Experience delivering major pieces of work in a complex agile delivery environment
- Experience with decision logic and rules management
- Experience in FICO AWS decision management platform
- Exposure to IBM mainframes, with knowledge of COBOL and DB2
- Exposure to SoapUI and Rest Assured
- Exposure to CI/CD Delivery Pipelines - Cloudbees
- Experience with programming languages e.g. Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C# etc
