DESCRIPTION
We are growing the Customer Support function in EMEA and are looking for an outstanding Technical Consultant to join us in Belfast. Are you already responsible for data integration and configuration of solutions in client environments? As part of the centralised customer support function, you will work with regional Heads of Service to drive improvements in application monitoring and alerting. You will also focus on developing Knowledge Base articles to assist our Support engineers and enhance self-service capabilities. A third key focus area for this role will be working with our Professional Services teams to improve the handover and transition of service into Support, delivering a repeatable, controlled process and a better outcome for our clients once live in production. This is a technical role, but you will also need excellent communications skills to facilitate client conversations and to deliver great outcomes both internally and externally for our clients.
We continue to grow our application monitoring capabilities, and you will be at the forefront of developing new monitoring capabilities and reviewing the performance of the existing landscape. Our customers, our engineers, and the service we offer significantly rely on application-level monitoring; this is the cornerstone of our service offering.
You will also be at the heart of the development of our technical recovery action plans and applying automation where it makes sense to do so.
Service transition is a critical step in our delivery process from pre-production to production. Specifying technically what good looks like across the application landscape will significantly reduce service issues post-go live – your experience, technical writing and communication skills will significantly improve this discipline.
You will have experience scripting, writing data transformations, performing JSON/XML manipulation, database queries and building data processing pipelines as well as strong networking skills.
Do you want to take on more responsibility and take a step up in your career? This could be the perfect role for you.
