Daintta are a rapidly growing, values-driven team of specialists who work with government clients across Cyber Security, National Security, Law Enforcement and Telecommunications. We are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Consultant to join our team and contribute to our mission of protecting the UK by scoping, designing and delivering mission-critical solutions. As a Technical Consultant, you will work closely with our public sector clients and project teams to solve challenging and interesting problems.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • You are degree educated, or have significant relevant experience
  • You are flexible, able to work effectively to deliver practical and expedient solutions
  • You have experience of working in a Consultancy, Systems Integrator or similar organisation dedicated to delivering solutions to complex technical challenges
  • You have led client delivery before – and have worked across a range of client projects – including some in data intelligence, technology or security domains
  • You demonstrate excellent communication and technical leadership skills, including an ability to persuade and motivate othersYou are passionate about technology and problem solving

Responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagements, presenting recommendations based on data, observations, and facts
  • Assess the client’s technical needs and understand how their needs are different from wants
  • Support the development and introduction of new services and technologies for existing and new clients
  • Design, develop and deliver innovative solutions for complex client challenges, producing high quality work to agreed timelines
  • Configure, deploy and test systems and solutions in an agile, hands-on and practical manner
  • Build and maintain strong relations with clients and key stakeholders
  • Analyse, manage, mitigate and treat risks to reduce impact on a project
  • Build and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Prepare and review comprehensive project documentation
  • Provide expert input to bids and proposals, scoping future work and helping to grow the business
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to colleagues and clients, sharing knowledge and experience
