Explore and embrace your role:

As a Technical Consultant - Mechanical Engineer at Envista Forensics, you will play a crucial role in conducting forensic investigations related to mechanical incidents and failures. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers and experts to determine origin and root causes of accidents, equipment malfunctions, product defects, and other mechanical failure related issues. Your findings will be essential in helping our clients make informed decisions and resolving complex legal and insurance matters.

  • Provide forensic engineering consulting services to our clients in your areas of expertise, such as:
  • Mechanical and electrical equipment failure analysis
  • Damage assessment of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment
  • Determine reinstatement options, timelines and costs
  • Fire origin and cause investigations
  • Work with clients, legal counsel and technical staff to mitigate exposure to risk and loss.

Essential expertise to ensure success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited University
  • 5+ years practical experience in industry; preferably industrial, commercial or manufacturing

Elevated expertise to excel/stand-out:

  • Direct diagnostic and problem solving experience with mechanical systems
  • Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical equipment inspections
  • Past forensic investigation/engineering experience strongly preferred
